Well there are examples on both sides, but the majority of anti-tesla legislation is from the conservative side. This is evidenced by both votes on bills and the political leanings of the states with sales and service are banned.

Yup, pretty sure dealership organizations have politicians of all stripes in their pockets the state level.

Question is, what anti-Tesla moves aside from protecting dealerships and exaggerating fear of AP are active on the Democratic Party side?

Members from touchstone states like MI, CT, TX, NM and others likely can give specific examples of Democratic legislators - at least at the state if not federal level - demonstrating words or actions against Tesla.

But not as a party. The Democrats are in support of renewable energy and EVs as a party. You can find some like Manchin hugging coal for the local politics no matter how imbecilic the idea is. In general the Kochs only support Republicans with the odd Democrat. Republicans are more easily and more widely bought off to deny reality.

• Lower labor costs - direct labor costs on the Model 3 are estimated to be at around $7k-$10k.

Too high. 20,000 factory workers @ $30/hr (incl benefits) is $300 million per quarter. They made almost 100k cars last quarter. S/X are more labor intensive, so Model 3 should be right at or just below $3000/car.

Just watched the video, too, and realized it even shows two holding lots: The one in your picture with mostly black cars and after that another with blue cars. All together I count something like 650 cars.

One thing shareholders can do to help the cause is to call your financial institution where you hold shares and request they don’t lend out shares you carry with them. If they refuse - you can put in a standing open “limit” sell order at some really high price like $2000 that just stays open vs closes at end of trading day. This simple action I believe prevents them from including your shares in the pool to lend out.

if there are enough of shareholders who do this with enough shares - it can make a difference. Consider doing this.
