You probably had stop limit order which guarantees price but not execution, stop-market does, but does not grantee price

It's a put I sold earlier, I'm very happy if it gets assigned, regardless, I suppose it needs someone to exercise it, which is more involved than a sell/buy order.

What happened to stocks splitting to make them more affordable? Also helps psychological aspect (10:1 split puts the stock price at $9/share and these gains of $150+ are only $1.50). Is that not the cool trend anymore?

The crazy drop at the end today was from a GOFUNDME campaign for Jim Chanos. He was seen eating out of a dumpster and ex coworkers felt sorry. They set up a page and it quickly raised enough funds to short quickly but they knew it needed to be very very rapid to exit without pain. Just to feed him a couple meals till tomorrow. Ok fine, it was also to buy him a TAYCANT! Cuz he's so impressed by its specs. And he lost his shirt before realizing that dream of owning a TESLA KILLER.

The selloff at the close did not have anything to do with Ford's earnings ... those were released after the bell. HOWEVER, the miss on earnings and poor guidance have a LOT to do with Tesla !
