If it is software related, it could be they are removing the EAP/FSD pricing separation and only having one all-or-nothing option. That would affect all models.

Notice I said IF - not expecting this but its a possibility that affects all models at once.

Why would they have to stop all the order pages (S,X and 3) for that though?

Stopping the order page for 2 hours delays about 6 million dollars in revenue. Must be something bigger, IMHO.

It's crazy that Elon cannot get Tesla to tweet the announcement, and retweet it himself (if his followers don't follow Tesla already).

I figured it out. Tesla has reached a critical mass of vehicles. Elon will turn on the switch activating full AI in all Teslas. His transformation into a supervillain will be complete.

TUSC stands for Tesla Universal Species Capitulation. I for one, welcome our new AI overlords. I hope my car appreciates the ceramic pro and PPF I applied to her and gives me a cushy job in the cobalt mines.
