Pretty much. Don't know about trillion, but I guess it's possible. It's my second largest holding behind Tesla for these reasons and more.

Accumulate. I'm saving "Buy a crapton more" for if/when the overall market corrects again. If that doesn't happen I'll just keep accumulating here and there.

Square, Pinterest: 5-10X. Alteryx: 3-5X. Particularly from the recent lows. I'm sure there are other cos with much higher potential returns - in genetics perhaps (NVTA, EDIT/CRSP/NTLA) - But you take on a little more risk, I think.

Are these Solar Roof quotes legit? It's showing a 3000 sq ft, 2 story house at $30k ($25k after incentives). If so, this is an absolute game-changer. Last quote I got for solar roof was ~$60-80k, if I'm remembering correctly. I don't think I could put a new 30 year composite roof on for less...

An Advice.

Took delivery today in Bellevue, WA (Non-P AWD, black on black, 19's, no EAP). Delivery went smoothly and the car is pretty much perfect aside from a couple of very minor cosmetic issues and a possibly non-functioning tpms (Noticed later that none of the tires show pressure rating in the UI)...

This seems to be the common thread... That Musk is predominantly just an idea man (visionary, futurologist, etc) and huckster (great at marketing), when that's clearly the least of which sets him apart from the field. I have big ideas and visions and am pretty good at bullshitting people, so...

The above was meant to be a response to dennis' previous post. Somehow the tags got screwed up and I can't find a way to edit the post. Anyhow: Tesla Energy. 2017.

Spiegel is a "hedge fund manager," among the smartest men in the room. He says a lot of smart stuff. Musk is just a guy who creates stuff.

In the last day alone he has angrily tweeted about tesla approx. 20 times to no audience. If I were Musk I'd look into getting an extra bodyguard or two.
