Just my musings . . . but I'll NEVER play poker with Elon Musk.

So after a few small companies and possibly VW and Ford get relatively close to the tech in the 2012 Model S . . . . Elon goes and just throws down the gauntlet.

The tech is by and far 15-20 years ahead of everyone.

Game . . . set . . . match.
Thanks for playing everyone.

Plaid ordered.

Wow. Skipped over Plaid very quickly, but then said it was available for order now, and available in about a year. Not even a picture of the actual car.

And don't have a name for the $25k car. Definitely little thought has gone into that car.

And then have no idea who's asking the questions and didn't think about how these people would answer the questions.

This is incredibly unprofessional and essentially no news to counter the big news that Lucid just announced. SP will be down $50 tomorrow.
This was BATTERY DAY!!!

Somebody got out of the wrong side of bed this morning. Lighten the F up.

This is what we waited from April to September for? Essentially, they've theorized some great improvements in the battery and manufacturing, but we won't see the fruits of it for 2 or 3 years (or maybe by 2030).

Absolutely NOTHING new today - no increased range, no refreshed S or X, did not show the Plaid. Briefed quickly over the Plaid specs. No compact, hatch back reveal.

Essentially, this was a nothing event. Absolutely NOTHING changes tomorrow, this month, or this year. And probably not even next year.

Sell ...clearly you need to sell.

Tesla is very good at downplaying future products in order to preserve current sales. They understand that they themselves are their biggest competition.

OK, Sure Gordan. At least we know your handle now.
