Special Bonus: Tonight's drink of choice AND a free German lesson!

For those of you who do NOT need a German lesson, you may avert your eyes.
For those of you who DO need such edification, I offer you up Exhibit A, AND you get two choices to pick from!

You may translate today's market activity, as so eloquently described in tonight's choice, shown below, as -

1. depicting where Old Bears are

or

2. Depicting where the Highly Bearish ones are

Either way, you don't lose! Only they do!

But you already knew that.

Kudos to your mom @Krugerrand for calling it this closely - she is now the official prophet for TMC :).

So next target, 1200 by Springtime. I will be perfectly happy with whichever springtime that meant to reach 1200
Our Springtime: 20 March
Australian Springtime: 23 Sept
Mars springtime: No freaking clue, but there is a Mars Drive in Texas - so I will take that as 20 March as well;)

Coming up fast! Spring equinox in Mars' northern hemisphere February 7, 2021!

Bullish!

Supervisor: 'I need you to come in early this week to finish a project'
Me: 'I don't think so'
Supervisor: 'Maybe you didn't understand me. I NEED you to come in early. Your job security is on the line.'
Me: 'I own Tesla stock'
Supervisor: 'Oh.... come in when you can'
Hi! This is Ron Smith from HR. Please come to the office immediately as we are letting you go. There is no severance pay because you don't need it and we are going to contest if you attempt to draw unemployment because you are no longer a good team player and have become insubordinate.

Do not attempt to remove anything as we will box it up and ship it to you. You may have been wondering why security has shown up right before receiving this email. Go quietly with him and do not say anything to anyone as we will be escorting you from the property and remind you of your NDA. Good luck on gaining employment elsewhere... :)

If we hit 1200 before Feb 7, 2021...... that would be $6000 in pre-split prices.

Long long time ago (i.e. just about 15 months back) - I thought $3000 price in 2030 would be good enough for us to retire comfortably. My husband thought that was a joke.
Now a price of $6000 in early 2021 is being casually mentioned, and no one thinks it is impossible! It is amazing how things have changed and the tide has turned into a tsunami in just over one year!

Some folks here have calculated their gains just this week in terms of years on salary/income. Just for *sugars* and giggles, I calculated my gains over the last 15 months in terms of my yearly salary - that number is embarrassingly high - I don't think I want to live that many number of years.

Discovering the people on this forum has been a life-changer! I will complete 50yrs on this planet in the 2nd half of this year, it is amazing that my brain is already contemplating possibility of retirement from work. Just want to say thanks!

My temporary post on @Papafox's thread :
As a new investor, I just want to say this is exactly the question on my mind at this moment and every time TSLA rallies so much. Thank you both for sharing your experience. One question I still have is : What % do you normally trim off?
Thanks again.

There is a rumor that Berkshire took a sizable position in TSLA. They made an investment but received permission to not disclose the name of the company. People are speculating it may be TSLA. They will have to disclose the name in the 13F.

How can anyone click disagree on this factual and helpfull post??

Jokes on you, Ron Smith from HR! sroh's in CA, where there's a mandatory 2-weeks notice in lieu of severance. Oh and don't forget to pay out his unused vacation hours too. And wrongful termination is a thing here, so better get that voluntary-release form ready.

Jokes aside, I have a cousin who's being kicked out of his rental in Texas, because the landlord was being "forced" to relocate back home 6 months early, so the 18-month lease (with 6 months remaining) was being revised down to 30-days, because that's all that the contract stipulates. Good luck finding a new place before the new year and in the middle of winter!

In our time being landlords and bosses, we need to remember that there's a human being at the other end.

Outsized TSLA gains are the result of right decisions at the right time, sitting through fear, sitting through good bearish arguments with superior data. Enjoy the rewards! Make sure you have a master plan. Prepare for emotions ahead, potential to go either way. Prepare for success!

I'm sticking with what Zig Ziglar said!

Fat thumbs? I’ve lost count of the number of disagrees I’ve caught myself making and changed back to likes. Having a few beers after this last week’s shenanigans didn’t help my thumb-typing..... I imagine one or two have slipped through.
