Tesla Used Autopilot

Lots of Model 3s are popping up on the Tesla site with some decent deals. They all only say “autopilot”. Does anyone know if the used 2018s will have EAP or did they downgrade all to the standard autopilot that’s included now?

This is interesting. It seems that if you buy a used M3 from a private seller, or maybe a used car lot, you would expect to get whatever software features were purchased originally with the new car or added later. But when you buy used from Tesla, they could legitimately reconfigure it any way they want, as long as they don’t mislead you about that configuration. Up to you, then, to decide if you like that configuration for that price.

Yes, auto lane change and auto park are also differences. Auto lane change was originally only operational during NoA. The autosteer and TACC of AP are 90% of EAP, IMO.

Auto lane change (driver initiated) was a basic AP function for years prior to the March change when it was moved to FSD along with the other features.

And a pretty significant one (bunch of threads from owners of new AP shocked/upset they don't get it)

Auto lane change (car initiated) came much later as part of NoA
