thing for dash cam

A little confused. I got the wireless charging pad, but now want to buy the thumb drive for my music and the other one for the dash cam. So many offers, Can someone give simple advice? thanks

You can use the same thumb drive, hard drive, or adapter with sd card for your music and dashcamera.

I use a high end Sandisk thumbdrive (256gb if memory serves). After 10 months I’m starting to get the “drive is too slow” error sporadically. When I buy again I’ll likey try the puretesla setup as its gotten good reviews. There are a ton of options. The dashcam rated SD cards are argued to have better life expectancy.

You can buy a SSD drive and format it into 2 partitions. One for music and the other one for the dashcam. Forget about USB thumb drives, they are either too slow or break down due to repeat read & write.

You could also just by a USB hub if you've got drives laying around and don't want to fuss with partitioning. Agree with the posters above though that an SSD or high endurance SD card is a better (longer term) solution than typical thumb drives.
