[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tesla has released a video that follows a Model 3 down the production line to completion.

The time-lapse footage titled “How Model 3 gets made” takes just 48 seconds for the vehicle to go from a bare shell to a red Model 3 with white interior. It’s a rare look into the Tesla Fremont factory and the Tesla assembly process, which has plagued the company for the past year. The company is now producing a steady 5,000 to 7,000 Model 3 sedans per week.

Notice that the door jambs are not painted, just like on cars identified in several threads. Quite noticeable on darker colored cars when the doors are opened too. As the car seems to have been painted without the doors on it's not really clear why it is being done this way.
