To tow or not to tow?

Seems like lots of people are getting tow hitches. If you are getting a tow hitch are you planning on towing a camper or is it for bikes? Just curious because right now I am not getting one but wondering if I am missing something.

Mine is mainly for bicycles but also the occasion short distance motorcycle trailer

RV travel trailers, smaller trailers for motorcycles, 4 wheelers, etc., moving rental trailers, bike racks, luggage racks.

I get my MY on Dec 29th with Tow hitch. I have a 6x12 enclosed utility trailer that I tow dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and street bike in.

I have a utility trailer, a snowmobile trailer and a PWC trailer I will likely haul around once in a while. The heaviest of the bunch would not be more than 2000 lbs loaded. I also have a full aluminum 5 x 10 hydraulic dump trailer that I may try just for the heck of it. Filled up I will probably approach the 3500 lb limit. Normally I use the Ridgeline or Mercedes but now that the Tesla is in the family and has a hitch, why not.

Speaking of hitch, how do the trailer brakes work. Seems like an oversight on Tesla part. Model Y Brake Controller
