Wow, incredibly low price. Is the battery in good shape or is it nearly dead?

ESS 3.0 (when available) was for any Roadster. Some owners had purchased some pre-paid battery pack replacement option with various terms, but this (like most Roadsters) apparently doesn't have any warranty or "BRO" ("Battery Replacement Option"). People sometimes struggle to get Tesla to provide them with replacement packs for Roadsters, so keep that in mind.

I am trying to be diplomatic and give "benefit of the doubt", but, yeah, lots of stories of stuck Roadsters in some cases going to 3rd parties to get ESS (battery pack) re-manufactured or repaired.

There continue to be rumors that "improved ESS 3.0" will be available soon, but nothing official.

that is my fear in purchasing a roadster that needs a battery replacement. I can’t even talk to a human at Tesla to get my model X in for a repair. They have not shown up at all to my last two service requests via the mobile app. Hmm..,
