Tow eye storage?

This turned out pretty sturdy. Hose clamps and zip ties.

Every car I've owned since 1991 has had a tow eye that nestled into a recess in a tool kit with jack and lug wrench. My 2018 Model S I just got this week doesn't have such a space?

Evidently, my car doesn't have a jack or lug wrench, as it doesn't have a spare tire.

My best solution is a zipper bag that can hold other items like charging adapters. I just don't like the idea of a steel rod escaping the cargo area and flying about the cabin in a collision. Mostly, I don't like things making clunking sounds when cornering.

To answer my own question, now that the mobile connector my car was missing as arrived, the tow eye fits neatly diagonally in bottom of the zipper case with its carpet-gripping bottom, along with a few adapters and connectors. Perfect.
