I was wondering if utilizing the new high fidelity park assist, anyone was able to lay marking in their garage and have those be recognized as it does in public parking spots.
So I’ve tried white tape. Both at its normal width as well as at 5 inches width. Didn’t detect it. That’s said I didn’t create a full box. Just a demo line to see if it’ll pick it up and it did not.
That’s what led me here. I was curious if someone tried something and knew for sure it gets picked up.
EDIT: I’ve also noticed that on YouTube people demonstrating the high fidelity parking system sometimes show lines detected with yellow markings.
I have two similar lines to mark the width of the car since my garage door has just a few inches on each side beyond the width of the car. I have not found a way to use these lines by the car. I have 2018 Model S with 2024.2.7. I am not sure if my car is using cameras for Autopark beyond my garage.
