I'm not savvy enough of an investor to understand what happens next. I wanted to hold way beyond $420. Hell I bought a lot at $353. Is this really possible in the near term?

He, along with what I would guess would be a group of investors, would purchase all shares on the market, and make us an offer for the shares we hold. We would all vote on it. If accepted, we get whatever the offer was for the shares.

420 seems light.

Your vote will not matter it he has already secured majority of shareholders to vote private.

Retail investors do not have enough shares to influence the matter. The call is made between the big boys.

Well, he can kick you out if he convinces enough institutional investors... Most of us would vote no, but we don't count much. I hope many others big investors want in the future of Tesla.

OK what do I do if I'm holding out of money ($400 Sep 21) call options in the event Tesla goes private? I never expected this and don't know what happens with options when a company might be acquired or taken private.

I think he is not joking. So many of us see the value in Tesla, it is really not hard to find a dozen or so wealthy people that share our view. And he is really sick and tired of dealing with the s$#@
