Thats not an old story, thats a new story
If this was blatantly wrong or "criminal" as some suggest, Tesla would sue CNBC and the Woman personally for defamation. But they don´t, and they don´t give hard data like the first try yield to refute the story. smoke and fire...
Who gives out first try yield? Never heard of it in silicon chips or cars.

This is the person I am going to trust to educate me on Auto Manufacturing:

Lora Kolodny

Tech Reporter

At least they know Tesla is a tech company as well.
"If it bleeds, it leads". Positive Tesla articles and named sources are not Lora's forte.
some of that sure, but, as I think you yourself have alluded to, with Tesla more is involved than "if it bleeds it leads."
In the past Kolodny would credit an infamous mini-hedge-fund managing TSLA short-seller as the bird-dog who pointed her toward a possible anti-Tesla situation. After doing that she was heaped with criticism for mentioning his name. This time he was not quoted, so we cannot know if he was involved.
