Has anyone considered how fast ICE sales will die the day the first poor owner of a late model BMW tries to trade it in and learns used ICE cars are as worthless as great grandma's fine bone china?

That day will be here very soon, and this is a powerful selling point against buying anything other than a Tesla.

"Unusually, the 330e was spotted testing alongside a Tesla Model 3 on tow. A fully electric 3 Series is not expected, with that car instead set to be part of the 4 Series lineup. It’s a sign, however, that BMW is benchmarking its car’s all-electric mode with a similarly-sized full EV."​

I'd guess it's a LR RWD version.

But remember, Saudi does not have a complete monopoly on oil. Maybe others just got angrier?

Too much special pleading.

For those of us still too much in TMC bubble - I'll say this again. Big oil doesn't care about Tesla. Its less than a minor irritant at this point. After all, oil reaches 4 year high even as Tesla doubles quarterly sales. The biggest threat to oil currently is regulation.

There are currently some 1,200 Million vehicles in the world. Out of this only 5 Million or so EVs. So, total # of ICE in the world is still growing.

I am not sure if it has ever been released the very first day. I would expect it tomorrow.

DGAF about Musk behaviour - sees the settlement as easing concerns from others - but they fully onboard the Musk Train anyway (quite rightly IMO).

2016 was Oct 2
2015 was Oct 2
2014 had no Q3 delivery letter
So it is common to not release the results right after after Oct 1 close

I think Q3 numbers are going break a lot of models--folks are doing to have to go reset Excel column width to get rid of all the "#######"

We can shorthand Tesla's PE ratio as ∞.
