FedEx delivered my TuxMats today (the front and rear set). The package came with the clips plus the new Velcro update. Took me 10 minutes to install the complete set without any hiccups. When is the best time to install these? Is it a good idea to install them now?

I intend to use them year round. I’ve always used “all weather” mats in my cars year round. Keeps it clean and I don’t really mind the look. It’s not just snow/salt you’re protecting against - rain, mud, and dust are equally bad!

For those that have installed their’s, do you find that there is a gap of about a couple centimetres for the driver’s mat to either the left or right side (depending how you line up the mat) after you install it?

For those that have installed their’s, do you find that there is a gap of about a couple centimetres for the driver’s mat to either the left or right side (depending how you line up the mat) after you install it?

No, my driver’s mat fit perfectly. They included some Velcro to secure the right side against the centre console but I don’t think I even need to use them.
