Two Tesla Model S cars were recently stolen in Europe and it’s puzzling the owners

The FOBs were not in those cars.

It could be a weak password where thieves could crack the cellphone app.

Owners could not locate their cars with GPS tracking so the feature must have been tampered by the thieves.

Perhaps, Tesla can look up the car logs and tell us what happened.

That is if the thieves would be nice enough to leave the Over-The-Air communications alone for Tesla to work on those 2 mysterious cars!

Another reason not to enter your tesla username and password into some third party app like 'remote s' - that one has been around long enough that you 'could' trust them, but what about cheaper clones, and even then, do you know their systems are as hard a hacking target as teslas systems.

...once they can use your username and password to figure out where your car is parked, they can arrange for stealing it with an RF proof truck and take it apart for parts...
