Now I have a collection date, I've looked again at insurance. Prices on all the comparison sites have crept up since I looked 1 month ago, but InsureMyTesla (Direct Line) still comes out under £300.

[Edited] Just checked with my current insurer (LV multi-car). £198!

Picked up my LR from Trafford Centre last Friday, great and quick delivery experience. Loving the car, charged at Tesla Supercharger prior to car appearing on the app. Car was clean and could not see anything wrong. Overall a great experience.

Same as with the M3. Physically they are matrix but the functionality isn't enabled.

Yep - I almost pulled the plug on the order when I was getting £2k quotes until 2 weeks before expected delivery it went down to £800ish which was bareable for me.

Just put the Tesla on my insurance (direct line)
From the 11th March to when the policy ends on the 1st May and they only wanted £14!
They did say they might not be able to insure it after that date as I was leasing the car through my business.

Ordered M3P on 16th Jan via Vanarama through LEX (was told likely March delivery 8-12 weeks)
Received confirmation txt from Tesla with order RN number on 17th Jan
Received Vehicle on its way txt - 8th Feb
Received confirmed VIN no by Vanarama via email 9th Feb
Received delivery date txt yesterday (16th Feb) - delivery date is 16th March (2 days before my birthday!!)

Never spoken to anyone on chat etc at all from start to finish. Just watched this forum thread, been some great info on here.

Hopefully I get the "on its way" txt soon then, as my RN was 11 days after yours.
What we need is a big spreadsheet where everyone can enter their key dates, then spot any patterns and get some better estimates for everyone...

It used to just say "Estimated Delivery: March"

EDD has just appeared on my order page! Wasn't there a couple of hours ago. No VIN in source or text yet.

I got the same from them yesterday, but today.....Estimated Delivery: March 22 - March 31

Yep we don't get that estimate delivery line for some bizarre reason.

A friend recently ordered a Taycan and was given a production date for his car, he's taken delivery exactly when Porsche said he would.

I had a VIN but was bumped, leaves a lot to be desired. I've owned an S and also have a new S on order, others would be moving to another Marque at this point.
