Yeah I have, via lease on Fri. Not heard anything regarding dates or a RN number.Anyone ordered a base model 3, white paint, aero wheels in the last few days? Wondering if it really will be November!
You'll get the RN number as soon as the LeaseCo place the order with Tesla. Mine came through the same morning the order went in. No dates though in the text from Tesla, I had to speak directly to the Tesla rep to check the target fulfilment dateYeah I have, via lease on Fri. Not heard anything regarding dates or a RN number.
They told me that was done when the ship was mid-way and I belive China UK is 30 days so 15 days to UK and 15 days to collection shold get us about 4 weeks notice which measn if You (and I) have not heard anything today then we will not be driving the car before 20th March.I spoke with Tesla today via the chat and it was confirmed to me that the matching of customers and VINs is done when the ship is in transit to its destination. No mention however of what stage in the journey this is shared with the customer however.
Order with Tusker late Jan and have a delivery date March 10th for a M3P!
Does anyone know if lease deliveries are driven or are they on the back of a truck?
I think if we were on a level playing field with consistent and transparent rules being applied to allocation, that would be true. HOWEVER, there seem to be many reasons why things don't work out that way, including:They told me that was done when the ship was mid-way and I belive China UK is 30 days so 15 days to UK and 15 days to collection shold get us about 4 weeks notice which measn if You (and I) have not heard anything today then we will not be driving the car before 20th March.
Seems reasonable that would be the case unfortunately. Let’s see what today brings! They told me that was done when the ship was mid-way and I belive China UK is 30 days so 15 days to UK and 15 days to collection shold get us about 4 weeks notice which measn if You (and I) have not heard anything today then we will not be driving the car before 20th March.
Did they give you any time at all to check it? This is what I don’t like about delivery. I am down the road from the Trafford centre and said I would prefer to pick it up, hoping my lease company is ok with this. (No date yet, ordered model 3 RWD STANDARD wheels on 7th Feb)
Same here! WoopTesla app suddenly asked me to enable Bluetooth. Low and behold the VIN has appeared in the source code. EDD still 22-31 March
Same for me. Vin has appeared, delivery estimate 21st - 31st March. M3 RWD MSM.Tesla app suddenly asked me to enable Bluetooth. Low and behold the VIN has appeared in the source code. EDD still 22-31 March
Tesla app just asked me to enable Bluetooth and my VIN appeared in the source code! Your theory appears correct! They told me that was done when the ship was mid-way and I belive China UK is 30 days so 15 days to UK and 15 days to collection shold get us about 4 weeks notice which measn if You (and I) have not heard anything today then we will not be driving the car before 20th March.
@DrTR you may have to get that champagne ready I just snapped-up a AWD/White/Black/Aeros from inventory. I now have the task of switching my order and getting on with delivery!!!
Out of curiosity, what are you searching in source code?Tesla app just asked me to enable Bluetooth and my VIN appeared in the source code! Your theory appears correct!
@DrTR you may have to get that champagne ready I just snapped-up a AWD/White/Black/Aeros from inventory. I now have the task of switching my order and getting on with delivery!!!
I really wanted the RWD, but with no news in sight, I have gone for the AWD as I have just returned my current lease car to the LeaseCo this morning!!!RWD? Surprising but congrats. Don't cancel the other one until you have it cemented in!
Just to clarify, this isn’t my experience, it’s a link to a Reddit thread that I found. My company car lease is being delivered on 9th March so I’ll update with my experience thenDid they give you any time at all to check it? This is what I don’t like about delivery. I am down the road from the Trafford centre and said I would prefer to pick it up, hoping my lease company is ok with this. (No date yet, ordered model 3 RWD STANDARD wheels on 7th Feb)
