Weird mine said “please pay off your outstanding balance prior to delivery” and now I’ve paid it it says “prepare for delivery”

Same for me. I made the payment. This was immediately after getting the sms that my delivery date is being calculated.

What sort of time does it take from hidden vin until official Tesla contact to arrange collection/delivery?

It's an ETA - estimated time of arrival. Therefore it's due INTO the dock on the 16th.

Tesla have told me that I should have my car in Glasgow (the other end of the Uk) in 4-5 days tops but to give a week in the worst case.

Curious - have Tesla told you that your VIN is on that ship ? How did you find out that info ?

They told me that my car is due in mid-November - my vin dropped at the time Glovis Summit was just left port - I've put 2&2 together - they did say tho when my car arrives in Southampton it will be up within 4-5 days

Thanks Ross - yes I’ve followed the same logic (albeit not had the 3-4 days after dock info) - but that lines up with my order/EDD… I was wondering if the delivery date will solidify when it passes the Suez and weather is more predictable (I assume)

hidden vin usually appears when cars have started journey to Europe (4 weeks shipping). you can expect notification from Tesla about 2weeks prior to delivery date. thats usually how it works +/- a few days either way. If you have discovered a vin try to relax...car is on the way

I’m on lease so can’t see a hidden VIN. Ordered feb so relaxing is no longer an option

Got it through the Arval S/S scheme .. I ordered in August but believe Arval ringfenced the cars in a bulk order in Feb/March time

That’s good to know. I ordered via Tusker in March (believe they had bulk ordered in Feb) so hoping I’ll also be an early Dec pickup in Glasgow…
