unable to text model 3

As of a few days ago when I go to do a voice text by hitting the button on the steering wheel i get a warning that says I need to be on iOS 13 or above. Well im on 15.

Ive done a reset on the car, ive reset my phone.....

I had some strange phone texting stuff (but not that exact message) a couple of months ago, and ended up deleting the bluetooth connection from the phone to the car from both the car AND the phone, and then re-pairing them, and the issue went away.

Perhaps try that?

It might be. I had beta then the last update before full release. Once I installed the full release it worked

Yep this works perfect for text and calls. Not sure if the car does it but even if it did I'd use Siri.

I seem to remember I needed to toggle Sync Message to ON in the BT setup [for the specific device] in the car itself after I connected my phone[?]

The car does it, however the workflow is a bit different than using siri. An example would be, you can tell siri "Text my wife" and if you have setup those relationships in your phone, that will work. The car, however doesnt understand any of those relationships, even if you have them setup in your phone., so you would have to say "Text <firstname.lastname>" (obviously no brackets). Kinda strange to me saying to my car "text <jane doe. (substitute jane doe for my wifes name) for someone I have been married to for 35 years, lol.
