I think if we step back even further (and in a different dimension - time), everybody will realize that Tesla will be measured by one thing, and that is how many cars did they deliver in 2012, and how many cars did they deliver in 2013.

More than that. Quality matters as well. Anybody can deliver 5000 broken things quickly.
