Musk tweeted today they are holding back AutoPilot on Navigation, its not ready. A new release started disseminating today 2018.39.5 a1c2332, does anyone have any info on this release? Is this the version 9 without AutoPilot on Nav?

Can't confirm but would assume since V9 has been anything .39 it probably is the latest updates sans AP on Nav

V9 should have all of the features except AP on Nav. Elon stayed it need a few more weeks since he didn’t like the rating it got on Consumer Reports. Few more weeks isn’t bad if it means a better AP for us.

Yeah it got pulled, lamentably. I’ll still install V9 if it gets pushed out to me I guess, but it no longer offers anything I substantially care about for the next few months (“few weeks” in Elon time = January, probably)

NO. elon specifically said AP on Nav was removed for this build.

Updated to this a few hours ago and as stated its V9 but missing the eap-on nav feature. Does include web browser and dash cam feature which I have not tried yet. One thing I don't like is that it now takes 2 touches to get to the phone app. Need to press the app tray and then select the phone icon.

As long as it's at least as smooth as the browser on recent Model S/X's, I'll be perfectly happy with it. I have a ton of ideas for it!

You got V9? Are you an early tester? Does the web browser allow you to set a custom homepage when you open it up like desktop browsers do?

Default home page in tesla.com, car gone now, not sure if you can select your own home page. I'll try it later.
