V9 update sequence?

What steps need to be taken to get the V9 software update? I got the email last week announcing it but didn’t see how it was going to be implemented. I read somewhere that another email would sent so one could give permission for the update to their car. Is that correct? I’ve connected to my home WiFi network in anticipation.

Just have to wait. Won’t be any email to acknowledge just an introduction to V9

The sequence is that when the update is sent to you OTA, if you have your phone app set for notifications, you will get a notification. If not you will see a clock at the top of your car screen. You can choose to update now or at a given time.

The V9 updates so far have been mostly to the S and X, with only a few 3’s. Just pay attention to this forum and you will learn when the updates to the 3 begin to ramp up.

Until then just be patient.

My Model 3 (just got it in November) is still at version 2018.44.2. Is there something I’m supposed to do to get the latest update? Every morning my phone says something like updates complete. I’m confused
