Version 9 Maps & Traffic

17 months lease left. The better ½ says "dump it now" she hates it so bad. So if anyone has $1,000 or so for a loaded '17 liw miles 75X in Cali or (sometimes) TN, & love love loves V9 .... feel free to PM so she can be done with it. One less whiny complainer upsetting those who are sick of the complaints. Here's to hoping that those who are 'sick of hearing it' never get a change that they absolutely can't stand.

I guess I'm out of the loop regarding this. Version 8 "new" maps replaced the satellite view with monochrome. At least the traffic condition colors were easy to view. When version 9 installed the default (at least I didn't change anything) was satellite view and with the now dominant screen position, the traffic colors are easier to view.

I didn't realize that a lack of color meant "no traffic data". Then again, the only time I'm on nav is in the Bay area and it's always red.

I wish I had read about this issue before "upgrading" my S to v9

I was focused on the camera issue that seemed to get a bandaid solution I could live with in .42, that I didn't realize they inexplicably took away the green lines. There's simply no good reason to do give us less traffic information.
