Watchla app no longer accepts authentication using tokens

Updated Watchla app to 3.5.1 last week. I like this app because it lets me use my Apple Watch as a bluetooth Tesla key to unlock and drive the car, even when my phone is not with me. Before the update I was able to sign in to Watchla using tokens rather than using my Tesla username and password. After the update the IOS app no longer offers the option to authenticate with tokens. The developer has not responded to my report of this issue. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

3.5.2 just came out. I don’t have the app yet but am looking.

The Watchla developer responded on GitHub. Due to the new Tesla API, it is not possible to offer token sign in.

Watchla devs have a beta program. anyone can sign up. With the beta, you can use the new Tesla API and the app functions as before.
