Water pouring onto second row seats

Has anyone had any luck with any DIY fixes for this problem? I know it is because the door seal is too narrow and too low to contain all the water pouring off the FWDs. My service center will not do any fixes or adjustments for this as they say there is no way to reliably fix the problem.

I don't drive my MX in the rain, so I wouldn't know. Haha. Wondering though if only opening the FWD to the lowest opening setting would help rather than letting them open fully.

Do you remember how they fixed it? I'm looking to get a MX and that was one of my biggest concerns about the Falcon Wing doors

Yup, had same issue when car was new 4 years ago. They fixed it by adjusting or doing something with the seals. Haven't had a problem since then. So I don't buy the service center comment that nothing can be done. Sounds like they are passing the buck. Thus agree with your comment. Try another center.

Local SC fixed that for me last year. They adjusted the seals.

what, this is fixable? i thought it was normal. since it rarely rains here in socal i never bothered to complain about it. but a couple of months ago when there were tons of rain here i definitely experienced this and thought since it's a fwd water would pour in and nothing can be done about it.

My service center replaced the seals at no charge. Never had it happen again. And this was done a year after I owned it because it just started then. Been over a year with no issues.

Mine was the same as above.. they replaced it and fixed the issue.. No charge.

It rains ALOT here in the UK, I've have driven x4 different Xs (loaners etc), never experienced water intrusion when it rains in the 2nd row. Even in torreiantl drain when opening the FWD passengers stay completely dry.
