Way to change phone network without MCU reboot ??? Loosing signal between countries

Hi There,

Just did an epic road trip to Germany from the UK in my 2017 Tesla Modle S 100D - MCU 1 so *maybe* fixed in hardware, but going from country to country and the mobile network would drop out a few miles after crossing the boarder....Blank maps, no traffic etc.

I rebooted the MCU with the steering wheel scroll wheels and a few minutes later, we're back and up and running until the next country when the same thing happened.

UK to France to Belgium to Netherlands to Germany all in one day was PAINFUL

Each country has different phone networks and I'm guessing that's the issue ????

I did wonder. I'm guessing that they do. Heck my phone goes ping and tells me of different rate, so i'd expect that.

Any idea if the MCU2 does the same daft thing ?
