I just sent a tweet to Elon I think a lot of other people who are already taking delivery of their cars should do the same. I asked that for those who took delivery of the car in Q2 that they consider lowering the price of full self driving by three grand.

i just talked with Tesla. I have paid, got VIN but have not taken delivery. They said I had to send them an email saying i wanted the lower price and they would send me a check for the difference in price and update the MVPA. I wonder how many would like to pay the higher price.

I got VIN scheduled delivery my SA wasn't super clear but said since my original spec is still available I should be OK. But he was saying something about changing the design when I no longer have that option.. I'll prob call delivery center tomorrow and hope for the best

Just sent an email to the delivery specialist asking for the refund. I payed in full for my car in June and still have not taken delivery. If anything the $2k is part of what they can do to make up for the 16+ day delivery delay.

I consider myself lucky now switching to the inductions on the performance stealth. I talked with a Tesla worker as well and they said since the price dropped to under 60k I will now be also eligible for the NY 2k rebate!! Hopefully they don’t force me to switch to the Uber wheels.

I have stealth performance with inductions also (switched on the day it became available) but I don't see any price changes. It just looks like base price dropped and price of Performance increased. Is the now non-existent stealth config cheaper than current performance upgrade?

Performance went down 1k from 60990 to 59990

Total price went down due to base price going down 3k. But that implies that performance went up 2k, otherwise, total price with performance option would also have gone down 3k.

I asked my SC about adjusting my stealth induction order down by $1k and they said I could either keep the order as is or change to a PUP performance to get the $1k. Went to two different advisors and a manager and got the same answer.

Seems like they will build the order as is, but won’t give me a credit.

I kept the stealth induction order.

If you don't have a VIN yet and still have the edit design option like I do. I just went in and edited my design and I got FSD now for the same price as before without FSD

Isn't FSD $8k? That's more than $3k, what else changed?

Performance Upgrade Package.
It was a separate option before, as a free upgrade on top of Performance order.
Performance with the upgrade was called PUP, and one without was called (informally) Stealth.

PUP is now rolled into Performance, and Stealth is no longer possible.
