Just got my box! Installing now. No hinges in the box, though.

They already have it. You switch it to "standard". Or when it asks, you just do not install.

Needs option to turn off completely.

I don’t want to have to x out of update every single time i get in or out of the car until I can confirm for sure on this site that Tesla hasn’t sent out another incorrectly vetted update.

There is NO point contacting Tesla. You'll all get (this includes me) the update when Tesla populates it through their system. It can takes weeks, so I suggest exercising patience. I'm playing the waiting game, too.

In the Software Menu on the car's screen, did you set it to "Advanced"? Are you still running 2022.23?

Whew! Update complete. Before my update completed, I got an error that the car has no charge and dyno mode enabled, strange. I was going to plug it in, but i never let the car get below 50%. So I waited and eventually the car showed 80% installed, then rebooted, then update complete. Had me worried for a few minutes. Anyhow, new update, no buzzing so far and new energy chart (Finally).

mine was at 74% when I installed this a few days ago and it bounced between 0 and 47%.

I’m in the same boat and have had previous versions downloaded, then subsequently replaced by later versions (I have not installed any beyond 2022.24.5). I can only presume the same will happen with 2022.36. I’m going to hold fast for a few more days.

Just an FYI: 2022.36.2 downloaded about an hour ago and I am finally updating from 2022.24.5.
