Both my office parking lot and my home has excellent cell signal. However, I do get a vehicle connection error from time to time when I try to check the car with the Tesla app. My iPhone XR is only 5 months old and it’s not loaded with apps. Bluetooth is always on and the Tesla app has full access. You might want to check your cellphone's cellular strength, when you find the "phone key" doesn't work.
I never had any issue of opening/closing of my Model-3 using phone key, but have observed that if I have poor cellular reception, the Summon feature either doesn't work or is spotty (Summon get abruptly aborted midways).
Let us know your findings, thanks.
Doesn’t the model 3 have blind spot alert on the display like the other Tesla models?
That console wrap looks great!Maybe cup inserts would solve one of your issues. I bought a set of each size from Chojin’s son and they work great. Here’s showing the small and large versions.

There are people selling a similar product now but usually I see only in one size. The kids’ product offers the two sizes which I find fits Starbucks cups from Short on up.

Yeah the center console is a scratch magnet. Even wiping it down with a microfiber WILL leave hairline scratches. Anyway, finally did my wrap from Abstract Ocean, black matrix. Looks pretty good for a first-timer like me at doing it...View attachment 423396View attachment 423397
I hate that the regen is now less when coming off the highway. Was that a firmware change? Why on earth do that - it was good before!
