I wanted to have a personalized plate TSLAROSA (a play on the Lamborghini Testarossa), but where I live, a personalized plate can have a maximum of six characters.

So TSLAROSA is up for others to use.

I named mine 110XXX (VIN number). I took so long to name it (over 6 months) I just got used to seeing the VIN number, and couldn't think of anything I liked enough.

I named my Model 3 "George". Partly so I can pretend to be Lenny from "Of Mice and Men" and partly so I can sing "George, George, George of the Jungle, Watch out for that tree!" when I engage AutoSteer.

I wanted to name it Jim so I could tell everyone I go to the Jim every day...

I had a friend who named his cars. So I gave it a try, but it never felt right. So my Model 3 has no name. I also have not named my house, or my computer, or my canoe paddle, or any other of my possessions. I named my cats. Animals need names. I don't feel that inanimate objects need names. Other than geographical objects. Like Tumbledown mountain or the Pacific Ocean.
