What happened to 2021.4.12.1?

My app showed that 2021.4.12.1 was downloading on my 2020 AWD Model 3 last night, but this morning I checked and there was no prompt to install the update and the vehicle was still on 2021.4.12. When I went to the update screen in the car it said that no updates were available. I have Advanced updates enabled.

Strange. Could you have hit the cancel button on your phone app in error ?

No, it was at like 8% and I left it to complete (usually takes a couple hours because of bad WiFi reception in our parking lot).

Maybe the wifi died on you. Can’t think of another reason.

I think Tesla can cancel a software update download if they determine the update has bugs. Don’t know if that’s what happened here. TeslaFi shows that 2021.4.12.6 started rolling out at the same time as 4.12.1, so that might be it.

I also had a pending update for 2021.4.12.1. Said it would download once car was connected to wifi. I was out of town and my car was parked at the airport. I got home yesterday, but no update. I'm figuring Tesla canceled the update.

I just got 2021.4.12.2 I guess there was some issue with the .1 version
