Thought it would be fun to see what OTHER vehicles people have in their stable????? What ya got????

Hoping not too many other threads like this exist, I searched but came up empty.... I will start but REALLY HOPE I don't get too beat up...

One of the things I love about Tesla is that they aren't afraid to go after both those who want environmentally friendly vehicles and those "car guys" who flat out want SPEED....

I have loved them since I drove the first roadster MANY years ago and honestly thought I would never be able to afford one. But here I am, Tesla S Plaid on order. But EV aside, I am one of those speed freaks, and my daily driver is about as environmentally UNFRIENDLY as they come..... A 2018 Jeep TrackHawk, modified to 850+ HP!....

Other vehicles in my stable include a Jeep SRT, Dodge Magnum SRT, & a Crossfire SRT..... And here I am, SUPER EXCITED for the TESLA to join the fleet ASAP!....

What else you all have in your fleet???

Got rid of my S2000 not long ago since having 3 cars didn't make a ton of sense for a single person lol.

My 2016 MS90D replaced a 2001 Honda S2000 which I purchased new and owned for 15 years. Fun car, but not very practical given multiple teenage kids. Found it sitting in the garage not used most of the time vs. the 2016 MS90D was a toy I could drive year round and haul multiple kids with athletic/music gear at the same time.

I'm on the other side of what drew me into Tesla...I've also been drawn towards efficiency. My other vehicles are:

2001 VW Golf TDI (moderately modified)
2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax
2013 Fiat 500e

...I like to think the EVs offset my turbodiesels
Almost pulled the trigger on diesels a few times over the years.... Really wanted a wrangler diesel last year but I was out of garage space and wanted to start working toward the Tesla.

yea my S2000 was my daily and track toy for 12 years. Not very practical when I have other 4 door vehicles in the fleet. It was tons of fun but found it mostly sitting since the Tesla makes more practical sense as a daily so I had 2 cars mostly sitting around and decided one of them had to go.

I came from VW TDIs - previous vehicles included a 2012 Passat TDI that got bought back and was our Model 3 down payment. We also had an awesome Touareg with the V10 TDI that we sold to a friend in California, a 1999 Jetta TDI and a 2000 New Beetle TDI, a ford F-350 PowerStroke (looking forward to a Cybertruck), a '91 Jetta diesel and an '87 Mercedes 190D 2.5 Turbo. I'm a big fan of big power, torque and efficiency (most of the diesels were tuned), so the Teslas are fantastic replacements.

Current stable:
  • 2018 Model 3 dual motor with acceleration boost, 140,000 miles
  • 2018 Model 3 mid-range with 50,000 miles (purchased from our roommate to replace our 2013 Fiat 500e and 2014 Cadillac ELR)
  • 1991 Mercedes-Benz 350SDL that is mostly a collector and driveway queen

Also had an s2k briefly at the same time i had the NSX and i quickly realized though fun, i didn't drive it as much as the NSX on the weekends when i bring out my fun cars so like you, i had to let the s2k go.
