Boy maybe I should search for youtube videos on how to use this plug!

This kind of plug is certainly more troublesome than most of the other twist lock ones like L6-30 or such because of all of the housing, sleeving, etc. around the plug pins. It's harder to see what is being lined up right.

You're right. Still Didn't work Wouldn't twist and lock even with me drilling the central whole wider and deeper. I'm able to lock with original. I wonder if this a custom plug mod. I wish all of the plastic housing, sleeving wasn't there so I could see what the problem is.

I wish Charge-point would just open up the locked j1172 over the phone, but the CSR said she can't even communicate with a disabled charger. Pulling out the original plug turns off and reboots the Charge-point monitor but the j1172 is still locked
