When will we see a 400 mile Model 3?

Next gen batteries will likely go to Plaid S/X first, then Semi and Cybertruck who most need it

3/Y likely to be last to get it, how soon depends how quickly Tesla can scale their native production of batteries.

What can I say, German autobahn
I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is I think the units of measure on your speedometer is mislabeled, that's kph not mph.

The good news, very good news really, is Tesla made a large shipping error, in your favour, when they sent you your Model 3.

Ya like charging twice!

Lowering driving speed does it. Rolling resistance is very low on a Model 3 and the drivetrain itself is extremely efficient. When you use the fact that air resistance is square of velocity to heavily lower that energy loss, and get somewhere close to overhead energy going into the various computer systems, servos, and such is equal to air resistance the range capability gets absurd.
