Who makes Model Y sound system?

I think so too. There is no specific branding visible on any of the speakers. It certainly has one of the best sound system I have had so far.

I have Audi B&O now and like...may get a Y and was hoping for a good system

Tesla also internally develops and updates the codec for their audio system. In theory it should improve over time. And for my ears, it’s the best sound system of any car I’ve had before.

the YoYoMa and Bobby McFerrin album is divine in the Y.

Anyone named YoYo should be in a Model Y!

It is the best I have heard. It is made by Tesla themselves who hired Bang & Olufsen engineers.

Designing a good car stereo system in the modern day is a data-gathering and processing project. As long as the fundamentals of the speaker drivers are good, the resulting sound system will be pretty good. Modern mobile dsp processing is powerful, cheap, and very effective.
