1. Whose car was it (not the car from your sig)?
2. Is the second picture supposed to illustrate snow performance by the fact that the tree fell off the roof on launch, since it's no longer there?

Seriously, just put a moving blanket on the roof before loading the tree. We've moved two Christmas trees (so far) on top of our Model S that way. Body color metal roof and it's fine.

I did the same thing, except I put a tarp under the tree, and I have the pano roof. This is the... 3rd year we're carrying a tree on the Tesla, no issues.

Actually, cutting down small trees helps store CO2. A new tree will take it's place and suck up more CO2. The old tree goes in a landfill where it takes many years to decompose.
