Will 18” aero wheels fit on the Model Y?

Apparently I forgot to attach the picture from the video, here it is. Does anybody know what the minimum recommended distance is between the brakes and wheel?

I just had Discount Tire install Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Plus 235/55-18 104XL on 18" Model 3 Aero rims today. Ive only put 100 some odd miles on the set up but I can tell you there are no clearance issues, The ride is quieter, smoother and the efficiency seems slightly better than the 19" Geminis. I bought the wheels used and the tires new.
I would like to do this, and I came to the conclusion that the 235/55-18 is the best size choice as well. My only hesitation is the Model 3 wheel is rated to 750 kg load. The Gemini is rated up to 900kg load.

So according to TireSize.com my 18" Aero winter tire set from my M3 has the following numbers:

235/45R18
Diameter : 26.3"
Width : 9.3"
Wheel : 18" x 7.5-9"
Sidewall : 4.2"
Circum. : 82.7"
Revs/Mile : 766

and ideally, the following 18" tire would best match the 19" Gemini's that I have. Will my old M3 Aero winter tires cause any speed issues? It surprises me that there's only .1" diameter difference between these, yet 50 revolutions per mile difference.

235/55R18
Diameter : 28.2"
Width : 9.3"
Wheel : 18" x 6.5-8.5"
Sidewall : 5.1"
Circum. : 88.5"
Revs/Mile : 716

Actually there is almost a 2" diameter difference 28.2- 26.3=1.9"
There will be speed issues and you cannot select 18" wheels in the Model Y configuration.

Here's what it would look like if you put model 3 tires on a Model Y. IMO it is way too big of a difference. Model 3 wheels maybe, but not model 3 tires.

Well, that definitely / clearly shows that the difference is too big. So if I keep the 18" Aero wheels, then I should get tires that are 235/55-18. Now to find a decently priced snow tire at that size. I really liked my X-Ice 3’s, but there’s nothing like that available.

Or Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV at 235/55R18 104R XL. It is the size you were looking for and the R3 is a great snow tire (it's what I have on my model 3) but I think I would go with the xice because of the speed rating. R = 106mph Vs H = 130mph

Reviving this thread- just wanting to see if others have gotten 18s on their Y, which tires and size they went with, and what efficiency has been.

I am waiting for someone to actually try the 18" aero wheels on a performance Y rear hub to see if they fit instead of just looking at it and not trying. Also, if the 18" Aero doesn't fit on the rear of the MYP, I wonder if a 12mm spacer would help (wheels tend to be tapered with less space for calipers near the face... a spacer could improve this).
