If we count wheels I get 8 1/3 wheels long:

If those are 19" wheels then that is 158" long.
If those are 20" wheels then that is 166" long (421cm).
If those are 22" wheels then that is 183" long. (Fisker Karma uses 22")
Actually I just measured the 17" wheels on my IS300, and they are 18" across, so 17" must be the diameter of the inside edge of the tire inside with some amount (~1" extra) of lip added, so I am revising up size estimates like so:

If those are 19" wheels then that is ~166" long (421cm).
If those are 20" wheels then that is ~175" long (444cm).
If those are 22" wheels then that is ~191" long (486cm).

Note, Fisker Karma uses 22" wheels and is 195" long (497cm).

I - for one - would love to have Rampage prove me wrong. I am not real excited about the Model S being a Station Wagon or something similar but the evidence seems to be pointing in that direction. I personally think it will be a cross between an R Class or an S class MB and an Aston Martin. Sort of larger with smoother lines. Remeber that it is the size of a 5 Series or even a 7 Series. That is a BIG car.

Well if this is a wagon it must be a retractable wagon. It is quite apparent to me that the cover flows evenly from the roofline in the center of the vehicle down to the back of the vehicle. It may well be a hatchback but certainly doesn't have the profile of a wagon.

I'm going to agree with you, it doesn't look physically possible this is a station wagon because of the profile. A station wagon means the roofline should pretty much go all the way back to the end without sloping downward much.

With this kind of profile, if this was a station wagon, the rear window would be ridiculously small. I looked at the profile of a Dodge Magnum (which at least one of the Model S mules is based on) and even given the Magnum already has a pretty small rear window, the roofline is definitely not as sloped as the cover indicates.

Who knows if these are the actual lines of the car. Many car co's have been known to camoflage a car that hasn't been released yet. Some car companies will purposefully loose camo as testing goes on to allow teaser shots. I think this could be the case here but I easily could be wrong?
