2mm may not be enough clearance for track use. At maximum lateral load the wheel will deflect - question is how much. All metal under load will deflect - depending on the distance from hub and amount of material it'll vary.
I setup and turn track cars and have some first hand experience with...
Just did my first track day in my m3p+. It did great - beat e90 m3 times. But I can't wait to swap out those giant 20in wheels. I'm ready with credit card in hand.
I'm happy to volunteer test fitting 18's on my m3p+ but they will have to ship to me since I'm on the east coast. I'll be happy to take picts and videos and then ship the wheels right back.
I'm very familiar with wheel fitment. I have a set of 20in BBS FI on my model X :p
I would go 18 if they fit. If not 19.
I Met up with a guy selling a set of 19’s today. The stud holes don’t fit. Apparent Tesla uses huge truck sized studs :/
I would like the door pop up sub screen to come up when you press the park button when it's already in park. otherwise if you dismiss the door pop up you end up having to tap 2-3 times just to open doors.

I disagree as well. for reference 10mm difference is about 0.4inch. split between two outer edges that 0.2inches. it'll fit just fine.
I know the bbs doesn't fit the S - I tried - but the X has wider and deeper wheel wells.
I don't have pictures of mine but they are identical to these
