Same problem in Australia. Tesla must be able to configure base parameters by Region. I.e. in Queensland Australia speed in 50km in built up areas unless sign posted.

My wife’s 2019 Subaru Forester has facial recognition and monitoring and it’s not that great. Works 50% of the time when loading drive profile. Personally I prefer the Tesla model 3 method where you link a Lock to a profile. More info here Driver Monitoring System

I experience this issue every day on a particular section of road. Just received the new update and will see over the next few days that this issue is resolved.

don’t expect any updates. It would be stupid to rollout an update over a holiday period. I’ve worked in IT for over 25years as Xmas is always a change freeze period. Limited staff around if it all goes pear shaped.

On the few occasions that this has happened (only been driving our SR+ for 3 days) the car has recovered by accelerating around the corner. Even more scary than braking. :eek:

I’ve noticed using V10’s on Autosteer the car abruptly applies the breaks when cornering when it sees a car is parked on the hard shoulder. Has anyone else noticed this? It’s a bit scary breaking hard while cornering.

Yeah Breaks are the most important upgrade you can do to a car. Not a lot of point having all that power in a car if you can’t stop it!

I think it’s more of a calibration of sensors. I presume learning is from the central Nero network. The Nero network builds the logic from fleet learning then downloads the new rules sets to the car. All validated by ghost driving first. The Nero network is why Tesla is the clear leader in...

Surely you can check somewhere in the software settings to tell you if you have v2.5 or v3. We are picking up our SR+ with FSD it would be disappointing it it has v2.5 hardware. If upgrade needed I hope the service experience will be a lot better than the delivery experience.

I actually emailed the Brisbane team today at lunch time and asked for an invoice. I received the invoice at 2:30. It might just have just been a coincidence. I was trying not to contact them, but gave in from pressure from the other half.

All the traditional car makers need to lock in contracts for battery supply. I’ve read VW has done this but many other car manufacturers left twiddling their thumbs. Personally I think the winners are going to be the car companies that have move on batteries now. Tesla saw this issue years...

Shipping was quicker than expected for the mat. Less than 10 days. I ordered a few other pieces for the centre console, they haven’t arrived yet.

Just unpacked our mats from AliExpress. Quality looks pretty good. Straighten out by heating up with a hairdryer.

I have a Chamberlin MyQ which supports Apple, Google, Amazon home plus IFTTT, so intergration with Tesla Homelink shouldn’t be a problem.
