You posted this 25 minutes after the RSVP deadline for people who received invites. Chances are very slim now, unless they release another batch of tickets.

We just got a quote from Shades of Texas in Cedar Park. The prices seem fair, their reviews look great and they use 3M film. We will be dropping off the Y next week to have the front windows done.

I had both installed on separate circuits. It wasn’t much more in labor to install a second circuit.

Our front camera was initially showing when you clicked the camera icon, and now it’s not there. I’ve tried everything to pull it up again, but I can’t find it. All we can see are the side cameras and rear view. Any ideas?

On our first Y test drive, as soon as we pulled onto the highway a tricked out WRX was in the next lane. They wanted to see what it could do. The Y left it effortlessly every time. And it was an LR, not even a performance model. (This was a hypothetical story that may have taken place in Mexico)

Thanks for the tip. Switched to advanced software update. Did another soft reset, but it’s still not there. maybe after marinating in the garage connected to WiFi, it will update again soon.

We just picked up our MYP (vin 137xxx) yesterday. Quickly noticed that boombox was missing from the Toy Box. The software shows to be updated as of 3/13/21. It does have the PWS because you can hear it in reverse. We tried a soft reset and calling the tech line who suggested requesting...

Picked up the MYP today. Everything looks great. For some reason it’s missing the Boombox feature. It definitely has the PWS speaker. It has the latest software and 137xxx vin. Tried resetting and then called the tech line. They recommended setting up a service appointment.

Just added $0 deductible glass coverage for $4/month to my progressive policy for the Y. Seems like a no brainer considering the cost to replace the windshield or roof.

I wish we (TX) had the same option for glass coverage that other states have.

I was just referring to the flurry of folks in this thread saying their orders have progressed into actual production and delivery dates. Many of us had been waiting around for weeks and it seems we all received similar communication around the same time.

Looks like the MYP’s, and lots of white interiors, are heading down the production line this week. Hopefully we see lots of delivery pics soon

Looks like the delivery dates changed from “x weeks from order” back to a wide date window.

What configuration did you get?

Our delivery date window was Feb 23- Mar 14. We initially ordered in October and pushed delivery to Q1 2021. Now our account shows delivery “15-19 weeks from order date”

Currently it doesn’t apply to Tesla. They already hit the 200,000 cap. There’s a new bill being proposed that would allow it for 400,000 more Tesla’s, but nothing confirmed yet.

The order doesn’t get canceled unless you cancel it.

Did the MYP just increase from $59,990 to $60,990?

We are waiting on a blue/white w/o tow PUP too. Hopefully they’re cranking out a bunch of them.

Don't forget all of the tragedies and challenges that happened in that time. It’s difficult to compare apples to apples when one president had: 9/11, war, financial crisis, bailouts galore, Katrina, etc... and the other didn’t. I don’t see how Bill could have managed to come out with a surplus...

The 100+ corporations like Amazon, DowDupont, Chevron, GE etc that pay zero in taxes probably don’t help the situation either. I’d be willing to bet this temporary $7k tax credit is a drop in the bucket compared to the taxes avoided there, but that’s a whole other topic.

Not sure who this ev credit would benefit with the proposed income cap. I can’t imagine buying a car that costs equivalent to 1 years’ income. “There’s an income-based phaseout of the credit that starts at adjusted gross incomes of $30,000 and ends at $40,000 ($60,000 and $70,000...

No, it’s not retroactive as it’s currently written. One the bill goes into affect, the next 400,000 EV’s Tesla sell will be included in the tax credit.

Latest change is Feb 6-18. Was Feb 8-28.

I know a guy who knows a guy, that has a cousin that might be able to change that vin.

February 8-28 is the latest updated delivery date here too. It was January 18-February 18.

Received notice that I was assigned a vin and a proposed delivery day/time. The only issue is that our account is supposed to be on hold until January. Elon is getting to be pretty pushy on taking delivery.

Just received another text offering a December delivery. Stop try to tempt me, Elon. It may eventually work!

That’s the same line the SA told us in November when we initially delayed delivery. We have now received 3 texts asking us if we wanted a December delivery. Thankfully we are not in a rush, and don’t buy into the sales (delivery) pressure.

We recently received (another) text from Tesla asking us if we would like a December delivery on the blue/white MYP we ordered. We had our order put on hold because we would rather a January/February delivery. Can’t help but wonder if they’re trying to quickly deliver these rejected Y’s...
