Had my screen smashed on Monday, looks like I’ll have a long wait for my replacement via autoglass, none in stock and its been passed to their order team , Tesla say they have one for the 29th Sep. no luck with Direct line getting them to agree to cover the cost to use Tesla 🙁

yes But once you have the vin you can call Tesla and ask for the certificate of conformity that will tell you the variant which will be a big hint on the battery type

I called Tesla and gave them my VIN and requested it, they mailed it to me in an hour of request,, in that PDF you can see the Variant code E5D or E3CD or E3LD are the 3 we have seen currently

just to confuse it a bit more, I am picking up a M3LR in the uk with an inventory listing of a 74kwh Panasonic battery pack , the CoC states an E5D and a consumption of 148Wh/km, range of 580km, the Variant on the invoice states an MT315 . where does this fit in?

Can I ask what the vin number is you have been allocated I have a M3LR coming with a vin number starting 220xxx just trying to get a feel for the number ranges being delivered this quarter

What I can’t get over is that the RCC Africa has LHD M3’s on and the Lydden that left Shanghai the day before has RHD M3 if they do all the RHD in the first few weeks of the quarter. Did they have some LHD models left on the dock sitting around?

Hey just received my text from Tesla for my LR M3 delivery here in the UK for the 14th May, called to confirm the date and asked for the vin allocated on my account, just wondering if others have received their UK VIN too and what the number range starts from mine is in the a LRW3FEB0MC220xxx range

Yep got my text today from Tesla for pickup of my M3LR the first available date being the 14th of May at Southampton docks so it does look like the RCC Africa is the hot favourite
