I have a similar issue except it's towards the back of the trim where the top and bottom portions of the seat meet. The back keeps popping out. I can push it back in easily enough, but the next time I drive the car it pops right back out. I'm not really sure how to get it to stay in place and...

FYI, I found another thread that mentioned making sure none of your contacts have the "&" characters in their name. I had an AT&T customer service contact it wouldn't let me delete, but I changed the name to ATT. Now it works fine.

Mine came with floormats. They're just standard carpet mats so I'll probably get some all weather ones though. With the weather here in Washington, I'm not a fan of carpet mats.

Make sure you check in the lower storage in your trunk, seems like they come with the license plate cover now. I ordered one and apparently didn't need to. Maybe they always did, but I didn't know that. Oh well. :) Absolutely love the car. Found a couple more very minor things but I don't know...

Delivery went off without a hitch. After being called and told they needed to move it back two hours, they called again and said they could meet the original time after all. No issues other than a slightly recessed back door handle which I have an appointment next week to get fixed. Hopefully...

I'm picking mine up today! So far every SA I've interacted with has been extremely friendly and helpful. I'd say my overall customer service experience has actually been pretty great. I could complain about the shifting delivery dates, but I think a lot of the anxiety there is just that people...

Was the trunk alignment the only real issue you found? That doesn't seem like a huge deal, congrats!

Is there any reason to do "final payment" before you've inspected the car? I'm a little wary of that and figured I'd just pay at the SC when I'm getting the car today.

The Tesla SC just called me to tell me they need to move my appointment back two hours tomorrow due to "transport issues." I know it's just two hours, but COME ON!!!! :)

Any recommendations on seat covers? I'm not sure I trust the ones I'm seeing off of Amazon.

Congrats!! These are the stories that kind of freak me out. Both of your issues sound completely correctable but I'm pretty OCD about this kind of stuff so I'm scared of how my appointment tomorrow is going to go.

Well, based on my 5-10 minutes of research I think I was wrong. It does seem like you can remove FSD so, assuming it actually does affect queue position, your idea may work?

I was under the impression that once FSD was unlocked it was permanently tied to the vehicle and couldn't be turned off? So if you canceled, you'd have to change to another car and that may impact your delivery date?

FSD for free isn't too shabby! :)

My delivery appointment is tomorrow afternoon. Today my wife informed me she wasn't going to be able to make it with me and she is on the registration/loan so required to be there to get the car... ARGH!!! I called the Tesla location and let them know what was going on and I was able to redo...

I 100% agree with you on preferring the chrome. It's just the OCD in me that couldn't let me do silver. That's actually why I didn't go with the 19" wheels either. My wife thinks I'm ridiculous, but I can't help it. :)

I had a hard time choosing between the black and silver but decided on the black to match the other accents on the car. If I had an earlier model year, I'd do the silver.

It's interesting that they don't do any kind of protective wrap on the cars for transport. It seems like most other manufacturers do.

I know in my case part of the issue is that I have a 16-year-old that is on our policy as well. My insurance was MUCH cheaper before she started driving.

Went from 6/23-6/30 when I went to bed to now at 6/23-6/28 so that's a new one for me. I may have to give them a call today.

Before heading off to bed I decided to do another check. Got the vision notification, now I have a VIN, and my delivery date is reading 6/23-6/30! Woohoo! Here's to hoping I get it this week!

If the Renton delivery center is giving put VINs and delivery dates that gives me hope as a fellow April order! Crossing my fingers...

Another move for me as well. Was 6/24-6/30 yesterday, today it's 8-12 weeks. Ordered in April... <sigh> I'm just hoping my wife doesn't push me to cancel, we are really starting to need a car.

Ordered on 4/25. Every day the estimated date goes back by one day. Currently at 6/20-6/30. Last weekend it jumped to 9-13 weeks, but went back to 6/17 on Monday. I think my wife is more anxious than I am. She's tired of me borrowing her car. :)
