    FSD impending 5th strike

Is that on FSD or FSD Beta branch?

I need help to get in the bata program

Read the note carefully. It's just a release note and used words like "will" and "if". Accept entry to the beta program by toggling the beta button and that's it.

    FSD Beta 10.12

Per Elon's post, the majority of current FSD Beta enrollees will likelky be getting the 10.12 release after a 10.12.x rollout. This should follow suit with the current 10.11.2 build. That being said, I have a sinking feeling that we may also not see any new entrees to the beta program just...

    Map turns black

I experienced a similar issue with that particular software build and the blackouts still creep up in the latest software update. I've only seen the problem with the NA-2021.44-13555 Map version.

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

Scary to think that it may not be far from the truth. I can image they run an operation where there's less than a handful of people that can turn a switch on/off. Sabbaticals can last from 1 to 2 months, with an average of 6 months. That means we may not see a single stack release for another...

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

I just got 10.11.2 on M3 from 10.10.2 as well. Seems they are finally opening this release to previous US beta testers. No love for new enrollments. I'd like to think we influenced this move in someway, but that's just as crazy thinking we'll reach full autonomy in "2 weeks".

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. I've decided that I don't want the beta for my MSP anymore. I want the same alpha version that Elon has in his personal MS.

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

To clarify, new to me means 2022. I also have a 2021 M3 with a few beta updates. I don't consider it new. I see 1 for year 2022 in that chart out of thousands that have been sold to-date. What am I missing?

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

I was hoping Elon would have spent that Twitter share buy money on a couple extra Tesla engineers to move FSD beta release dates beyond the forever sliding "2 weeks" scale.

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

These recent updates have not been open to US cars in the FSD Beta queue. Especially for newer model cars. For instance, I have been nursing a 100 SS on my '22 SP and I have not been able to locate any similar model years on Teslafi or Teslascope. That said, If the idea is to run limited...

FSD Beta v10.11.2 - Here We Go Again!

FSD Beta v10.11.2 was released today (04/04/22) it the first batch has already been released to over 400 drivers via 3rd Party API services as of this post. The rollout is targeting a mix of USA and Canada drivers. This may likely be another limited release or it may cover another wave of...

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

There are elements in 10.11.1 that are a big improvement over 10.10.2 right? At least based on the release notes, the improvements in some areas (i.e. visualization) doesn't make it a regression overall. My SP still has not been enrolled in FSD Beta and my M3 is stuck on 10.10.2. It does...

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

I think you may have the wrong software downloaded to your car. Sounds like a Tesla programmer may have accidentally slipped a couple lines of code from the virtual slalom VR game he is developing on the side, into your software patch.

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

There's nothing in these recent updates that appear to follow any logical train of thought. As of now, it seems to be following some automated algo that gives engineers enough time to review and assess new data as it comes in. What I do know is that Tesla can push out a manual firmware update...

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

Tesla engineers are likely going to get flooded by an onslaught of disengagement data from Canadian drivers in the next few week. These drivers will likely be panicking at the wheel in week one. Everyone who is already familiar with FSD Beta for sometime remembers the first time they were...

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

For the drivers who have received the update, are you currently publicly sharing your firmware status with any 3rd party sites (i.e. Teslafi, Teslascope, etc.) or not? We often rely on these services as a viable metric to gauge the popularity of these update rollouts. That said, it may be...

In that case, you can open a ticket on your app under "software" subject and a tech can manually push the update to your car again. At least, that is the quickest way I have seen these particular issues resolved.

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

Have you tried a soft reset (2-scroll wheel reboot)? I am seeing more drivers going from 10.10.2 to 10.11.1. This is encouraging to those who were passed up from the last 10.11 upgrade. The additional pattern I am seeing is that 10.11.1 is rolling out to cars that have older than 2021 or have...

FSD Beta 10.11.1 (2022.4.5.20) - Limited or Mass Release?

This release flow does seem to follow the drip-drip pattern from the previous one so far. It appears that many drivers aren't aware that they have a pending update primarily because they are still asleep. Lets see if there's a new cluster of pending updates (200+) in the middle of today...

    1) This is your best guide on how to engage it - Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability 2) Create an account on tesla.com, then add your vehicle by adding your car registration info. You should then be able to sync the app to your account profile. As far as your side note, it depends on...

    FSD Beta 10.11

What roll, if any, do FSD beta drive suspensions strikes play in whether a driver is included in a future update release pool? FSD Beta 10.11

This FSD Beta 10.11 release appears to mirror releases that eventually die. This brings me back to Elon's tweet about the 10.12 release. He still has not corrected that tweet or clarified why there's a disparity between that version number versus what is out now. Which leads me to think Tesla...

    FSD Beta 10.11

Well, this is not a fun weekend so far. I just received the 2022.8.2 update on my '22 S Plaid this morning. For a second, I thought I was an FSD Beta enrollment push. And yet, my '21 M3 is still stuck at 10.10.2 with lots of data contributed to the FSD Beta program. I have reserved the S P as...

    FSD Beta 10.11

I'm specifically referencing installed updates which are identified by VIN #s. The VIN # history shows all previous updates versions for each car, therefore, it's easily to identify which cars were freshly enrolled in FSD Beta.

These testers are definitely doing God's work with these drive loops. Very informative indeed. However, I'm not sure some of us could get away with driving around the same block this many times without looking suspect. Some eager beaver neighborhood watch dog in my town would have called the...

    FSD Beta 10.11

I do wish they employ an alpha track in this FSD program for those willing to risk life and limb. I'd sign right up even if it meant I'd have to drive with a programmer tied to my roof while in mid coding.

    FSD Beta 10.11

There are no major red flags from those who have shared their drives on YT, so I can't imagine what has caused this grinding halt. I view 10.11 as an alpha version and maybe it's good enough to where it will be released to everyone as a beta, perhaps in the form of 10.12.

    FSD Beta 10.11

I enjoyed the podcast, but now my mood is now soured. The longer time passes between me having listened to how great 10.11 is and not having it pushed to my car, is a constant reminder of why I'd rather enjoy the update first-hand. There's a sickness in having to keep checking your phone for an...

    FSD Beta 10.11

Maybe this explains why Elon's twitter referenced 10.12 instead of 10.11. We assumed he made a faux pas with his tweet, but I notice he never corrected it either. Maybe 10.11 is intended for a silent release and 10.12 will go out to the entire fleet of existing beta users?

    FSD Beta 10.11

It would be nice if FSD Beta followed registered Tesla accounts rather than VINs. I still don't have FSD Beta on my S Plaid after taking ownership of it this month. FSD Beta 10.11
