Touch Up Paint Advice (white M3)

Thanks. That's a much better colour match than the Tesla kit. Craziness.

Tesla Touch Up Paint White Pssw

I'll try to remember to report back, but I don't intend to use it until after the winter season, and just get all the nicks repaired at once.

Tesla Touch Up Paint White Pssw

Precisely. It doesn't match. It boggles the mind how they sell it as pearl white. I just received my touch up direct kit but I haven't had a chance to test the match on it yet.

    Winter Tires on Model 3

Precisely. Thanks for the thread link! Seems that general consensus is that the difference between 235 and 245 is so minimal as to basically not matter.

    Winter Tires on Model 3

Am I correct that the X-ice Xi3 only come in 245/40/R19? The OEM 19s are 235/40/R19. Would the 245 Xi3s fit without any issues? Looks like the new Michelin X-Ice Snow are the upgrade from the Xi3 and they come in 235. I doubt anyone has tested them out yet (aside from press reviewers) but one...

Touch Up Paint Advice (white M3)

I also bought the touch up direct kit for pearl white, so I'm interested in the responses to this as well (although my marks are about 1/8th the size of yours. Honestly, I'll probably pay the local detail shop to do it properly since I'd probably mess it up...

M3 & MY Leasing Option now available in Canada

16,000km per year is pretty decent, but a 48-month term isn't, nor is $5000+ down. I'd like to see a 36-month term like they have in the US, and less of a required down-payment.

    Nomad Charger + Cam

I bought the Nomad and now my TeslaCam doesn't work when using the splitters that came with. I'm using the Samsung SSD, and have tried reformatting it and using each of the two splitters. Any suggestions? Is the only option to also get the Jeda hub?

PPF installers in New Brunswick/Nova Scotia/PEI

Indeed. Unfortunately, the Tesla paint kit for pearl white is garbage and doesn't even come close to matching, so Paul wasn't able to fix my rock chip (at least not until I find a better paint match). On the bright side, the guy is a saint and didn't charge me for the attempt. That's how you...

PPF installers in New Brunswick/Nova Scotia/PEI

My car is at Hooked on Detailing right now getting a rock chip fixed, so they are definitely open! Keep trying to get through. They had 6 cars packed into their bay this morning, so they are very busy.

Purchase/delivery experience for provinces without any physical locations?

There's a ranger/mobile tech that services Atlantic Canada. But we're definitely taking a bit of a risk being owners this far from a service centre. I've had my car since March and haven't had any problems yet (aside from a nail in my tire, which was just fixed by a local EV mechanic).

Purchase/delivery experience for provinces without any physical locations?

I'm in Halifax. Car was shipped to Quebec City and then put on a third-party truck to my house. I was out of town when the delivery happened, so I routed them to a friend's place who did a quick check of the car, got the keycards, and that was it. The delivery drivers don't really know much -...

Winter driving advice, winter tire choices, etc.

Hi all - about to start shopping for winter tires (figure I'll get a slightly better price on them now, versus closer to winter, but maybe not). From reading through the forum, I am seeing that either the Michelin X-Ice 3 or Nokian Hakka R3 might be my best choice. I am confused about the sizing...

For Sale: IKON Carbon Fiber Spoiler for Model 3

Absolutely. You may want to check how much it will cost to ship to me though - not sure if you noticed I'm in Canada. If you want, I can DM you my postal code and you can get a shipping quote from USPS?

For Sale: IKON Carbon Fiber Spoiler for Model 3

Hey - I'd be interested in this if you're getting to the point where you're considering shipping. Understood if you're not interested in going down the road yet. I was planning on getting an IKON spoiler and wrapping it to match chrome delete, so this would be a perfect solution.

    Protecting your white seats

I applied two coats of CQuartz Leather about 4 days ago to my white seats. Looks great so far, no discolouration or issues whatsoever. I've read that the warning to not use on white interiors was from when the kit included orange microfibre applications cloths, which potentially transferred some...

Love that wrap colour! I honestly think that powder coating those stock 19"s black to match the trim would look best. Bronze has never looked good, but my opinion only!

    Cabin/Road Noise Model 3 w/aero wheels

Took delivery on Friday and the wind noise at speeds over 100km/h is my only complaint, and it's not a major one. I listen to my music loud, so that basically solves the problem! I will maybe look at some of the rubber/sponge solutions eventually. I'm on the 19" inch wheels and I don't find the...

Model 3 Canada - Confirmed Orders Only thread

Took delivery today! Ordered LR AWD white/white with 19" wheels on January 19th. Delivery to Halifax. My French is pretty decent; hopefully it'll be OK! I work from home, so I'm not too worried about having enough notice, thankfully. The road up to my apartment is definitely tight. Good luck timing that! They notified me yesterday, which is 6 days before the timeframe when they said delivery would be. This is a situation I will be dealing with too. I live in a building with underground parking, and that's where the EV chargers are and where I will be parking my car.
