But if I understand it correctly the pile of service issues is getting bigger and bigger, maybe due to the cancellation of ICO ?

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

I wouldn‘t hold a margin position in Tesla stock around ER. Tesla shares makes too crazy jumps up or down, esp. @ cc. You could as well go to Las Vegas and put 1,000 $ on red or black on a roulette table.

[Verified False] I THINK THE MID RANGE MODEL 3 IS A SOFTWARE LIMITED LONG RANGE BATTERY PACK!

Yes you are right. But wow, 270 pounds for one engine/axle more (AWD vs. non AWD) ?...

    Mid Range waiting room

I think the MR was a quick shotnof Elon and Tesla needs time to deliver the MR versions. The 6 weeks delivery promise might be way too optimistic

    Bumper Alightment At Delivery

I can‘t imagine they really have factory painted hoods, bumpers etc. No other car manufacturer does this and never heard of Tesla doing it either.

[Verified False] I THINK THE MID RANGE MODEL 3 IS A SOFTWARE LIMITED LONG RANGE BATTERY PACK!

There is a 400 pounds difference acc. to spec sheets (3,686 vs. 4,072)

    Truly Buggy Software and Hardware

An otherwise great car is being encumbered with unnecessary computer problems just because they love the "high tech impression" of these screens and insist on using too much IT tech. I know I am in the minority but I would rather see less computer tech in Teslas. Don‘t forget, it is a car in the...

What Would You Do (Paint Chip)?

I wonder why Tesla doesn‘t offer some kind of rebate for the buyers to accept the car as is. Let‘s say 1,000 $ and you drive the car home now ? Or how much would be the minimum penalty you would accept for a car with paint chips etc ? Might be the best and quickest solution for Tesla and buyers...?

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

As I said, I like Tesla cars and am planning to buy a MS in midterm future (S Mark II, maybe ☺️). But I am also an experienced investor and watch the performance of the Tesla shares and then find here the extremely optimistic, even aggressive views in the investor threads of TMC. I am certainly...

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Seems to be a strange forum here, please excuse me for not asking for your permissions before posting. I am mainly interested in Tesla cars but am also a private investor looking for ideas. And exchanging opinions is what makes a forum what it is. Why are differing opinions treated so...

I am not invested in Tesla and am not going to invest at these levels. The chart looks ugly and the news flow negative. Keep a cool head investing your hard earned money.

    VIN Assignment

I know that the VINs are assigned in groups and not in a certain order. But why do they spread so much apart ? From 12xxx to 20xxx within a week...?

    VIN Assignment

Sorry no, but I know of no single car manufacturer who would paint the cars in the move. Programming the paint robots for a static object is difficult enough, you know...

    VIN Assignment

Yes of course the cars are moved in and out by conveyor belt, but they do not move while being painted. To come back to the actual question: I believe that 3.5 minutes are sufficient. The longer drying time is taken care of by the longer line section with the heat lamps.

No they are not moving, not in the paint shop...

    VIN Assignment

I believe, they only have one or two "paint shops". The drying is done further down the line and does not add up to the spray time in the shop. The VINs are not strictly connected to a production date. I am quite sure they are grouping the colors in lots.
