    Supercharger - Perth ON

Couldn't agree more! With my M3 LR RWD, I'm able to go from Pickering all the way to Ottawa without issue on Hwy 7 in the summer. It's such a nice drive! Perth and Peterborough will be great to make that possible in the winter without any added stress.

    Supercharger - London, ON

Odd that it shows 150kW on the website. The in-car navigation properly shows 250kW.

    Supercharger - London, ON

I've yet to get above 60kW on any V3... (I've used 2 of them so far). I though it was maybe just mid-winter cold, but I think the V3's are still being actively configured behind the scenes and tested.

Also, it now shows up in the in-car navigation.

Appears the transformer is still missing according to photo from yesterday. You can see the empty pad on the right surrounded by safety posts and also the giant bundle of tubes coming out on the left of the cabinets. Hopefully it's all delivered within a couple of weeks as 00kevin stated.

    Supercharger - London, ON

Looks to me like the only thing missing is the Hydro transformer. Then they can power it all on and test.

    Supercharger - Deep River, ON

I charged to 100% on Fri night, but by Sat morning, starting from -22C and pre-heating for 10 min, + the phantom drain overnight and the 2% I lost before remembering to turn off sentry mode, I started my trip at 84%. I tried to kill 30 min by going back to the SC for a quick top-up, but since...

    Supercharger - Deep River, ON

    *ahem* woops, copy/paste calculation error I'm afraid. I was getting Avg Voltage - 386.38V / Avg Amps - 117.63A = 45.45kW

    Supercharger - Deep River, ON

Similar experience here too. I was only getting 46kW both ways to and from North Bay, and also in North Bay. From Ottawa to Deep River 189.46 km Driven Avg Speed 95 KPH 228 Wh/km 62% SoC Used 64.2% Efficiency Outside -6.8 C Inside 21 C Deep River SC 39 Minutes charge time Start - 24 % End -...

Just out of curiosity, what makes you say it's not V2? Looking forward to V3 if it is!!! :)

    Supercharger - Deep River, ON

I sincerely hope so! This would be epic for the cross-Canada road trip I'm planning for next year (previously this year).

    Ottawa Service

There are 2 rangers in Ottawa now, one new guy based out of Smiths falls with the Ford Transit, and the other Patrick, based out of Ottawa with a branded Model S P85DL (soon). The guy from Smiths falls is just starting his job, so he's still shadowing Patrick for a few weeks. There is also now...

    Electrify Canada

Tesla has stated that they'll release an adapter in EU for the Model S / X to take advantage of CCS considering all M3s are CCS-only. CCS won the war, at least in the EU. I've reached out several times for NA asking about adapter availability but they refuse to comment.... I'm pretty certain...

PSA: literally iced (not ICED) superchargers

It's not a re-designed port. It's instead only a re-designed solenoid to actual the locking pin.

    Supercharger - Mississauga, ON

Any update? Curious if the concrete is actually poured and they're just waiting on the electricians?
  18. A

    Ottawa Service

That will be good to have! Poor Patrick is overloaded as it is and it doesn't help when he takes a week or two at a time for more training every now and again.

Looking forward to this one, makes visiting family a couple of blocks away really easy without detouring off the 407 in Vaughn!

    Passenger Side Mirror Heating

I asked the service rep about this recently and he said it's a known issue, that it's a software glitch that's preventing the main controller telling Vehicle Controller Right (VCRight) to heat the mirror. It'll be fixed soon, likely by Jan.

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

Toyo Observe GSI-6 I should also mention, I've driven over 1000km since I switched tires, but I only noticed the regen come back after the 42.2 update, so I can't be 100% certain it was the update and not the KM of experience for the car to learn. If it wasn't the update though, that's quite a...

Model 3 RWD: Frunk Replacement for more Storage

Model 3 Interior lighting. Best product, and frunk add.

What did you have to do to wire this up? Anything special, or just tap power from the existing frunk LED?

Model 3 RWD: Frunk Replacement for more Storage

Has anyone come across any companies making bigger frunk liners for more storage capacity on the Model 3 RWD? I know there's a huge open cavity under the frunk since there's no front Motor, and Tesla wanted to keep manufacturing changes to a minimum between the two models. I'd really like to...

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

This is useful info! Ever since the 42.2.1 software update, I haven't had a problem with regen anymore. Temperature has remained consistently between -2 and 10, same tires, same PSI (approx 42-45)

EAP and HOV lanes changed behavior in 42.3

Weird, I've noticed the opposite. Before 42.2 I was riding middle of the lane, and during the merge sections it would center again, causing it to do a hard left back into the centre of the lane when the double-line started. But now on 42.2 and 42.2.1 I see it stays on the left side, about a...

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

Just heard this from the executive team after submitting a question in my online account:

    Ottawa Service

I'll be looking forward to that myself as well. Currently, I've had a few very helpful visits from Patrick the local ranger. He services the area from Montreal to Kingston and up past Renfrew. Clearly drives a lot of kms, but he has a storage locker here in Ottawa for parts and does his own...

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

I'm also having this exact issue, no limited regen bars, but definitely NO regen right down to 30kph before it kicks in normally. Running on 18" Aero rims with Toyo GSI-6 tires. Just swapped today, temperatures was about +2C to +5C. Thought this was odd as well, I really hope there's a fix for...

    Slacker loading error

Agreed, I also noticed this a day and a half PRIOR to getting the V9 update, so it makes perfect sense their traffic is just overloading their VPN network capacity. I wonder how long it'll take them to increase that pipe size so this isn't an issue for all future updates, should this actually...

    Locking wheel nuts

What about the instant torque? It affects the design of many elements of the wheel including the specific tires they use and Ford, let's face it, don't have anything in the same range (power yes, instant? not so much).

    Model 3 Tires

Anyone know what tires Yoyo Xu got in Montreal for his Model 3 road trip through Canada? I'd like to get those tires as I hear they're much cheaper than Tesla charges, but still get the Aero rims + sensors from Tesla directly.

Unfortunately the rebate only applies if you've installed it within 30 or 60 days of the delivery of your car and that you currently have a plated and licensed EV that you own. So little chance of taking advantage of it sadly.
